About Us

Kimberly Codr, RN — Founder, Plush Recovery

I’m Kimberly Codr, a Registered Nurse and the founder of Plush Recovery. My journey into post‑operative nursing began on the other side of the operating room. After my own surgery, I experienced unexpected complications and discovered firsthand how limited post‑op support can be. Sent home with only a stack of standard instructions, I knew there had to be a better way — care that truly accompanies patients from pre‑op through full recovery.

At Plush Recovery I offer a personalized, concierge approach to post‑operative nursing. I don’t believe in one‑size‑fits‑all care — every recovery plan is tailored to the individual’s needs, goals, and concerns. My patients often tell me, “I never would have expected you to do all this” or “You are an angel,” which reflects the attention, compassion, and practical support I bring to each visit.

Committed to excellence, I continually research best practices and incorporate patient feedback so I can deliver the most effective recovery techniques and up‑to‑date guidance. I’m warm and approachable, and I truly enjoy spending quality time with every person I care for — educating, supporting, and empowering them through the entire recovery process.

If you’re preparing for surgery or navigating recovery and want attentive, experienced post‑operative care, Plush Recovery is here to help.

Call or text 469-521-9585. A $100 non‑refundable deposit is required to reserve your date.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, check, Zelle, or Venmo. Need another option? Just ask! We do not take credit cards.

  • How long do patients typically hire you for?

Anywhere from 1 hour up to a week. Typical ranges for common procedures:

    • Facelift: 24–72 hours
    • Rhinoplasty: 4–24 hours
    • Mommy Makeover: 24–72 hours
  • Do you sleep while on duty?

Generally if I am caring for a patient for over 12 hours I will take short naps throughout the night. I align my nap schedule with the patient’s needs and the required tasks to ensure safe, attentive care.

I bring a quiet spot for rest: a couch, recliner, or guest bed, depending on the space available. As for my meals I bring my own meals and will occasionally order in when needed.

  • Will you travel to care for patients?

Absolutely. I hold a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license, allowing practice in 41 states. For non‑drivable locations, round‑trip airfare plus a $100 daily travel fee apply.

  • Do you work with specific surgeons?

No — I have excellent relationships with many surgeons but am not exclusive to any practice.
